We were delighted to attend the grand opening of Saturn Corporation’s state-of-the-art vehicle assembly plant in Dar-es-Salaam on 9 April 2024!
This new modern facility will assemble a variety of Sinotruk trucks under the market-leading Howo brand. Proud to support this venture through Construkt Africa, serving as Strategic and Financial Advisor to the Vinmart Group, parent company of Saturn, in support of its ambitious growth, expansion and regionalisation initiatives.
The launch was presided over by H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, who heralded the major investment in the plant as a testament to Tanzania’s improving business climate and robust economic prospects, underpinned by significant investment in strengthening regional infrastructure, development of globally strategic mining resources, and investment in the extraction and distribution of substantial natural gas reserves, with tourism also achieving strong growth.
